IT Consultancy

The systems behind the counter, reviewed honestly.

IT strategy, information-security assurance and systems integration for Tanzanian businesses — infrastructure reviews, network and server work, and the integration that makes your fiscal, forecourt and tracking data land in one place instead of three. We work with whatever you already have, and we write down what we find so the next person does not have to guess.

What the work focuses on

Infrastructure review – What you’re running, what it costs and what is about to fail — written down in language a board can act on.

Information security – Access, backup, patching and the ordinary controls that stop the ordinary incidents.

Systems integration – Getting the systems you have already paid for to talk to each other.

Network and server support – Cabling, switching, servers, and the day-to-day support that keeps them up.

How an engagement runs

Findings first, invoice second

A real sequence, in this order, every time — you can stop after the first step and still have something worth having. Nothing in the first step commits you to the second.

01 — Review

We spend time on site: what hardware, what licences, what backups, who has access, what breaks most often. You get a written findings document whether or not you buy anything after it. It takes a day or two on site, and the document is yours regardless of what you decide afterwards.

  • On-site inventory and access audit
  • Backup and restore actually tested
  • Written findings, priced and prioritised
02 — Plan

The findings become a sequence — what to fix now because it is a risk, what to fix at renewal, and what to leave alone this year. Costs are laid out so you can see what buying nothing this year actually risks.

  • Risk-ranked remediation plan
  • Budgeted by quarter, not one lump
  • Honest ‘do nothing’ options where they apply
03 — Implement & support

We do the work, or we work alongside whoever already does. Either way the network, the servers and the integrations end up documented and handed over. Handover includes the network diagram, the credentials list and the licence inventory, in your hands rather than ours.

  • Network, server and cabling work
  • Fiscal, forecourt and tracking integration
  • Ongoing support with agreed response times

Which do you need?

A project or a retainer — which fits

PROJECT — ONE DEFINED OUTCOME

A network rebuild, a migration, an integration. Fixed scope, fixed price, and documentation at handover so you are not tied to us afterwards. Right when you already know what you want built and want a fixed number against it.

RETAINER — STANDING ARRANGEMENT

Agreed response times for a business without internal IT. Predictable monthly cost, and an engineer who already knows your setup before they arrive. Right when the real problem is that nobody is watching the day to day.

Most clients start with the review and then choose. We’d rather you decided after seeing the findings than before.

Common question

Will you tell us if we don’t need anything?

If that is the answer, yes. The review is a paid piece of work with its own deliverable, so we don’t need to find you a project to justify the visit. Plenty of reviews end with “fix the backups and leave the rest alone”, and that is a good outcome for both of us.

Tell us what keeps breaking

Roughly how many users and sites, and what prompted the question. We’ll come back with a review scope rather than a brochure.
